Surveying

The use of drones and appropriate software is becoming extremely popular within the surveying and mapping industry.

We use photogrammetry software Pix4D

Key Outputs;

3D Point Cloud - Laser scanner quality 3D points from our Drones. Clean from moving objects, aerial perspective with limited occlusions, and low acquisition time.

Orthomosaic - High resolution aerial map with corrected perspective, putting us in control of geographic data generation.

Volume Calculation - Output calculated volumes on a perfect representation of your stockpile.

Contour Lines - generate contour lines for a simplified representation of topography, we can export them to you for further work.

3D Textured Model - Full 3D triangular mesh with photorealistic texturing, perfect for sharing and online visualisation.

We use this for;  Mapping, Building site progress reports, stockpile surveys, 3d models and many more.

Our equipment

Our Main Drone for Inspection & Surveying work is the DJI Inspire Pro.  Equipped with a X5 Micro four thirds camera.  The DJI Inspire has a flight time between 15 to 20 minuets giving plenty of flight time to capture data .

The aircraft takes no longer than 10 minutes to set up and start flying.  Giving a massive advantage over some of the bigger aircraft within the industry.  The Aircraft can cover large areas within very short time frames giving it another advantage over current methods.
